His notable assignments have included: Lehman Brothers, Apollo Global Management, Banco Bradesco, Harbinger Capital, Mutual of America, Fiserv, Microsoft, Philip Morris, Verizon, Hewlett-Packard, Velocity Express, PacifiCorp, Dell and the U.S. Postal Service.

Recently Mr. Shanahan assisted clients to review strategic acquisitions, identify cost reduction opportunities, construct business continuity and disaster management plans, evaluate IT governance structures, develop and implement management reporting, and meet regulatory requirements.

Mr. Shanahan served as work stream lead at Lehman Brothers, where he developed and administered system and process migration efforts to expedite Lehman’s changeover from TSA services to a self-sustainable environment for corporate functions (HR, payroll, legal, compliance, audit, corporate security, and corporate real estate).

Mr. Shanahan began his operations and technology consulting career with Andersen Consulting / Accenture, where he served numerous clients with their retail strategy and technology needs.

Mr. Shanahan earned a bachelor's degree in mining and minerals engineering from Virginia Tech. He also earned a master’s degree in business administration, with concentrations in marketing and information technology, from the University of Texas at Austin, McCombs School of Business.
