Mark Williard, a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Healthcare Industry Group in Dallas, specializes in strategic planning, supply chain, revenue cycle, and operations. He has worked with companies across the full continuum of healthcare including providers, payers, suppliers and large Healthcare Information Technology firms and has extensive experience in product and large scale project management, informatics and service development.

Mr. Williard currently serves as the Interim Chief Procurement Officer for The University of California Health System.  He has done several projects with large academic medical centers where A&M has provided strategic and operational improvement support.  He has also worked on several engagements focusing on revenue cycle management, including serving as VP, Reimbursement for one of the nations leading Infusion Services providers.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Williard served as Senior Vice President of Product Strategy and Innovation for BerylHealth, a company that focuses on the patient experience and provides outsourced communications services to hospitals and physician practices.  While there, he led product expansion culminating with the company’s purchase by SteriCycle in 2012.

Previously, he served as Vice President of Informatics and Vice President of Product Management for Broadlane Inc., a healthcare services supply chain company which was acquired by MedAssets in 2008. Throughout his 20-year career, he has held many leadership positions in companies that serve the healthcare industry, including seven years with Solucient which is now Truven Health Analytics.

Mr. Williard earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from The Johns Hopkins University and an MBA from Baylor University.
