Delivered cost reduction / margin improvement assessment for a $2 billion technology-based retail business that identified $70-80 million in opportunities in the shared services and business unit cost reduction / revenue improvement / cash flow improvements.

Led development of a contact strategy for a regional healthcare provider, including an assessment of current state capabilities, gap analysis to future state, and a business case and plan for achieving improved service levels and impacting access to healthcare.

Led the evaluation of the BPO hosting services of a healthcare software company and made recommendations on steps required to improve processes and architecture to result in a significant increase in availability and reliability for customers.

Led a project to remediate multiple operational issues for a large healthcare payer. Issues addressed included claims demand and capacity modeling, claims inventory backlog reduction, ASO billing accuracy, Coordination of Benefits savings calculations, commissions payments, and IT hosting and performance. Claims backlog reduced by $750 million over five months.

Interim VP of Operations in a post-merger integration environment for electro-optic products business. Reduced headcount and COGS to improve gross margins by from 13% to 29% in three quarters.

Rationalized the product portfolio and instituted engineering change order (ECO) and end-of-life (EOL) processes to reduce costs at a $600 million communications components and subsystems company. Developed a long-term manufacturing strategy that led to savings of $6 million per year.

Led the redesign and implementation of product lifecycle management (PLM) processes for the merger integration of two multi-billion dollar disk drive companies. The project involved 1,700 engineering and manufacturing users in four design and seven manufacturing sites in the U.S. and Asia and reduced costs by $3 million per year.

Before joining A&M, he served as a Director with Hitachi Consulting. Previously, he was a senior manager with Arthur Andersen; General Manager of Automotive Products with Ameri-Forge; VP of Strategy for Global Industrial Technologies; and Director of Strategy with Motorola.

Mr. Stott earned a bachelor's degree from Claremont McKenna College and a master's degree from Stanford University.
