Dr. Newman brings nearly 20 years of leadership, consulting and technology experience to the firm. Some of his notable assignments include the design and development of a business intelligence/dashboard system focused on the QSR sector; serving as lead architect of a business intelligence platform for a large credit card company; and data warehouse design and implementation for clients in the health and fitness industry.
Prior to joining A&M, Dr. Newman was co-founder and CEO of Transpose Design Partners, a provider of business intelligence platforms with a focus on data warehouses and digital dashboards.
Previously, Dr. Newman led a research team at IBM before co-founding and serving as CTO of Pantero and, later, Octavian Software. Dr. Newman began his career providing consulting services to the financial services industry.
Dr. Newman received a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Princeton University and a doctorate (Ph.D.) in applied mathematics from MIT.
