Marc D. Detampel has 23 years of consulting experience advising on Human Capital strategy, change management, leadership development, HR technology strategy, talent management and organization design and development across many industries. He has spent his career transforming corporate and line functions, advising companies on service delivery options, making better decisions through workforce analytics, managing risks in HR processes and controls and assessing and improving talent management within in an organization.
In his professional career, Marc has held a number of leadership positions including Global Human Capital & Change Solutions Leader, SVP and Americas Management Consulting Leader, North American Leader for Human Capital and Change and been a member of the Management Committee of a Global IT and Management Consulting Firm. 
 
Mr. Detampel is a frequent writer and speaker on human capital.  His ideas have been covered by CNN, Business Finance Magazine, New Thinking World Press and others.  He also sits on the HR Advisory Board for Marquette University.
 
A sample of projects are included below: 
HR Workstream Lead for a SSC Feasibility Study for North American HR, Finance and Accounting functions for a Fortune 20 automotive company.  The assessment led to the establishment of a SSC in Southwest US.  Led the HR team in building out the SSC including the hiring, on boarding of employees and training, as well as the development of HR programs and policies.
 
Project Lead for the assessment, design and implementation of a new HR model for a Fortune 50 Industrial Products company.  Led HR executive team through the design of a new strategy and operating model.  The new HR model included consolidation of SSCs, reduction of redundant technology, and development of an HR consulting based model.
 
Project Lead for the development and implementation of a HR Technology Strategy for a Fortune 200 Industrial Products company.  The new strategy included the move to a Cloud-based HR solution.
Change Management Lead for a HR Transformation project for a Fortune 100 diversified manufacturing company.  The scope of the HR Transformation included the move to a Cloud-based HRIS, better utilization of ESS/MSS, development of new HR SSC model and HR strategic business partner function.
