He has spent most of his career in transaction advisory services to private equity firms and private and public companies; with his primary areas of concentration in financial and business due diligence.
With more than 20 years of international mergers and acquisitions experience, Mr. Wright has worked on over 300 domestic and cross-border transactions in a variety of industries, including financial services, software and services, aircraft and shipbuilding, publishing, automotive and manufacturing.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Wright spent 24 years with KPMG LLP in London, Boston and New York, where he most recently served as a global Lead Partner in the firm's Private Equity Group. Before joining the group in 2007, he was the Northeast U.S. Partner-In-Charge for Transaction Services based in New York. He also served on the National Management Committee for Transaction Services. Clients acquired and served during this period included Goldman Sachs PIA, Morgan Stanley Private Equity, DLJ Merchant Banking and IBM.
Mr. Wright earned a bachelor's degree in business studies with a concentration in economics from Robert Gordon University. He is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.
