Lorenzo Callerio is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal in Milan.

Mr. Callerio brings more than 14 years of experience in cross-border operational and advisory restructuring, interim management, performance improvement, and change management coupled with background in transaction services, corporate finance and M&A.

He has served clients across a range of industries, including medical devices, healthcare, fashion retail, renewable energies, waste management and automotive.

He served as interim manager alongside the head of Indirect Channel and Commercial Operations for a leading global medical technology company (negative pressure wound therapy and advanced wound dressings) with a turnover of $1.4 billion on a broader pan-European transformation process.

Mr. Callerio served as advisor of companies going through operational and financial restructuring procedures at the pan-European level, including an Italian waste management group, an Italian fashion retailer, Cimos (an international automotive group based in the Balkans), Tecnopali Group (an Italian poles and masts manufacturer), Lediberg (a manufacturer of diaries and promotional products), Eukedos (formerly Arkimedica, the listed holding of a Group operating in the managed-care sector) and Mariella Burani Fashion Group.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Callerio served as manager within the M&A department of an Italian merchant bank listed in Milan. As part of his tenure, he participated in a number of corporate finance, M&A and debt restructuring projects. These projects spanned across several industries such as automotive, real estate, beverage and renewable energies.

Mr. Callerio started his professional career in the Transaction Services practice of an international professional service company in Milan, where he performed financial and commercial due diligence for private equity investors.

Mr. Callerio earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Università Luigi Bocconi (Italy). An Italian national, he is fluent in Italian and English.
