Linda Orton is A&M’s Chief Marketing Officer, based in New York. She is a marketing leader who delivers high impact strategies and practical tactics that transform brands and cultures of professional services firms. These actions improve client and employee relations, drive revenue growth and improve communications to the marketplace.

She has extensive experience leading change through consensus building and active listening. Her storytelling skills have been honed, giving hundreds of marketing, recruitment, career coaching and social media presentations across the U.S. and Europe over the last 20 years. She also has performed stand-up and has told stories on the stage.

Ms. Orton's in-house experience includes growing and directing marketing programs at leading law firms in the United States and London. As the founder of three recruitment and marketing businesses, she has spent the last 20 years consulting to the AmLaw 200, major accounting firms, technology and sales companies. Her expertise includes traditional and digital marketing, business development, communications and PR, social media, video production and distribution, CRM, Website creation, recruitment, talent development and career and sales coaching.

​Over the years, Ms. Orton has led numerous groups in the Legal Marketing Association, The UJA, The University of Chicago Alumni Association and many others. She is an active mentor for people of many ages in many countries.

Ms. Orton graduated from the University of Chicago and earned a bachelor’s degree in English language and literature in 1987.
