Mr. Posner assists clients in consulting and interim executive roles to maximize topline revenue and profit. In CEO, SVP Sales, Chief Marketing Officer, and CFO roles, he has extensive experience improving growth by quickly identifying key drivers impacting underperformance and future success. Mr. Posner is a proven leader with strong strategic planning, performance improvement, and sales/marketing skills that accelerate revenue and profit.
At a previous interim CEO assignment for a private equity-owned capital equipment company, Mr. Posner strategically repositioned the company to focus on higher growth emerging markets, increased manufacturing capacity by over 50 percent and established new joint ventures and distribution partnerships in India, Brazil, and China. The company increased sales by over 45 percent and doubled EBITDA.
Prior to A&M, Mr. Posner was CEO of InfoPlus, a telecommunication services company, where he implemented a successful turnaround strategy that generated new sources of growth in a rapidly declining market. Before InfoPlus, Mr. Posner was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of New Day Financial, where he developed a new business strategy that defined new product opportunities and achieved scalability by expanding the branch network into new markets. He increased sales from $22 million to $48 million and profits from $3 million to $13 million in four years.
Previously, Mr. Posner was recruited by HIP Health Plans, a $3.6 billion health insurance carrier, to reverse a five-year decline in the core business. As Chief Marketing Officer and SVP of Sales, he launched an effective strategy to reposition the company with new products and distribution channels that increased both customer acquisition and retention. Sales grew 45 percent and profits increased from $88 million to $275 million.
As Managing Director of Group Insurance for EmployeeMatters, Mr. Posner built the group benefits business for this cloud based provider of human resources benefits administration outsourcing. He achieved national product coverage, negotiating alliances with leading carriers and brokerage firms, leading to a $42 million sale to Intuit.
Mr. Posner was a consultant at Accenture, Coopers & Lybrand and The Alexander Group, where he created a sales management consulting practice to the healthcare and insurance industries.
Mr. Posner earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from McGill University. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
