Kevin Christ is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Corporate Performance Improvement in Dallas, specializing in implemented sustainable change through the practical application of information technology (IT).

He has led technology-enabled business initiatives for both emerging and blue chip companies, including developing and implementing IT strategies, developing and instilling IT portfolio and program management capabilities, rescuing at-risk projects and leading the turnaround of challenged IT organizations. Clients turn to him with their most challenging and pressing IT opportunities and issues.

With almost 30 years of IT and consulting experience, notable clients include ExxonMobil, PG&E, ConAgra, Dow Chemical, HollyFrontier, Superior Propane, Freeman, Chrysler and Kmart. He has served as an interim CIO on four occasions for significant clients during critical transitions.

He has worked across various industries, including energy, manufacturing, retail, high tech and public sector.

Mr. Christ joined A&M following the sale of Avalion Consulting in Dallas to Grant Thornton in 2010. During his five years at Avalion, he served as VP of IT Services, focusing on hands-on client service. Previously, he was with Deloitte for 19 years as an IT Consulting Partner in both Dallas and Detroit. There, he served as the National Systems Analyst Program Director, the South Region IT Practice Leader over Atlanta, Houston, Dallas, Austin, Kansas City and Washington, D.C., and on multiple internal partner matters boards.

Mr. Christ earned an MBA, with high distinction, at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and a BA in mathematics and business administration from Alma College. A Certified Management Consultant (CMC), he serves on the Society for Information Management (SIM) DFW Board and National Management Council, the Boy Scouts of America CIO Advisory Board, TCU's Neeley School of Business Experiential Learning Advisory Board and is an Executive-in-Residence at UTDallas.

He is a speaker on IT, transformation and leadership topics for professional conferences (SIMposium, Innotech) professional associations (SIM, PMI and IMC), and universities (UT Dallas, TCU and University of North Texas). He was selected by Consulting Magazine as a Top 25 Consultant of 2014, winning the distinction in the technology category.
