Ms. Davis has served as adviser on multiple assignments evaluating the operational and financial status of free standing and multi-facility healthcare organizations. Ms. Davis’ primary focus is the operational assessment, development of integrated ambulatory centers, academic physician practice plans, physician practice performance improvement clinical care, performance improvement, strategic planning, revenue cycle analysis, resources allocation and leadership development. She has led multiple successful healthcare organization development and turnaround projects.
Ms. Davis served as a member of the senior leadership team in a dedicated children’s hospital responsible for all patient care services. She was the clinical expert in assessing quality of care, identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement for a five-hospital healthcare system in acquisition phase. Additionally, she worked as an adviser to a large privately held assisted living company.
Ms. Davis also served as a senior executive for American Strategic Healthcare Management healthcare organization focusing on the strategic planning and development, operations, financial feasibility and restructuring of healthcare organizations in Saudi Arabia.
Previously, Ms. Davis’ roles included President and Chief Operating Officer of the Imaging Division of HealthSouth, which included organizational redevelopment, marketing and the financial restructuring of the division. She led the implementation of operational improvements through cost reductions, contracting and closures of underperforming assets. She directed multiple capital investment projects in addition to leading the divestiture activities for the division.
Ms. Davis has served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Metro West Hospital, an acute care facility with 365 licensed beds. She has successfully managed a 75-person physician group practice was responsible for the recruitment of more than 30 physicians and new service development.
Ms. Davis earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing and a master’s degree in healthcare administration from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. She has held multiple board of director positions in for-profit and nonprofit community service organizations.
