Joe Cronk is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Corporate Performance Improvement in Atlanta, specializing in revenue enhancement and client growth strategies. He helps drive A&M’s Key Account Program in the East Region and leads the client relationship for several global Fortune 500 clients.

Mr. Cronk delivers Business Development Transformation consulting services to clients in numerous industries including mobile technology, management consulting, marketing strategy and innovation, executive search, law, leadership development and accounting and tax. He brings 27 years of business strategy, market and client development experience to his clients with proven results in strategic planning and sales and marketing optimization.

Mr. Cronk’s career has spanned numerous global companies including PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), IBM and Unisys. During his 17 years with PwC, he held a series of leadership positions including managing director of sales and marketing, strategic planning, global account management, and management consultant. At IBM, he was responsible for the AT&T global relationship.

He was recently part of a senior A&M team that delivered a global supply chain transformation for a major metals manufacturer. He also led a multi-phased transformation initiative for the technology leadership of a major cable operator, resulting in significant cost and performance improvement and the implementation of new processes and systems.

Mr. Cronk led a major transformation in late 2012 for the CEO and leadership team of a very large not-for-profit resulting in a new executive dashboard for the board and a new growth strategy for the organization.

Before A&M, Mr. Cronk was the managing partner of Rainmaker Partners, Inc. which provides business development transformation services, and Rainmaker workshops and programs delivered to selected, high performing teams and executives.

His clients included many of Atlanta’s Fortune 500 companies including UPS, AT&T, Cox, Georgia Pacific, Coke, Novelis and Turner Broadcasting.

Mr. Cronk earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration in management science from the University of Georgia and a master’s degree in business administration from Mercer University in Atlanta.
