Mr. Fisher has experience working with companies in several industries, including financial services, technology, retail and franchise systems, manufacturing, and real estate. With more than 15 years of financing and restructuring experience, he has assisted clients in preparing business plans, assessing loan and receivable assets, negotiating financing agreements, assessing cash flow and liquidity, hedging and liquidating financial assets, and restructuring operations.

Mr. Fisher’s other past turnaround and restructuring clients include Expro Group, ProAmpac, American Apparel, RetailNext, UTi Worldwide, Conexant Systems, Rural/Metro, stakeholders in Highland Crusader Offshore Partners, L.P., stakeholders in Trident Microsystems, stakeholders in Takefuji Corporation, Washington Mutual, Inc., and Isola.

Prior to joining Alvarez & Marsal, Mr. Fisher spent nine years at Citigroup, where he worked on internal strategy, acquisitions and divestitures, restructuring bank operations, as well as advising external clients on structured finance transactions. Prior to Citigroup, Mr. Fisher worked in Deutsche Bank’s real estate investment bank, assisting in the diligence, pricing, acquisition and securitization of performing and non-performing commercial real estate loan portfolios in the US, Japan and Korea.

Mr. Fisher earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of California, Berkeley and an MBA from Columbia University. He is a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA).
