Mr. Anderson has extensive expertise in calculating damages for complex commercial litigation, intellectual property, securities litigation and employment claims. He also specializes in business valuation, statistical analysis, as well as complex data analysis and management.
Mr. Anderson has provided economic, financial and accounting analysis for clients in various industries, including medical products, financial institutions, computer software, restaurants, franchisors, manufacturing and mining. He has testified as an expert witness before federal and state courts and in arbitration proceedings.
Additionally, Mr. Anderson has served as a court-appointed receiver in matters involving securities fraud, including conducting and coordinating forensic accounting investigations and recommending distribution plans to the court. He has also been appointed by the courts to serve as a special master in matters involving solvency and fraudulent transfers. Mr. Anderson has conducted financial forensic investigations on behalf of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the Denver Public Schools, Grand County, Colorado, and for private industry.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Anderson was an Associate Director with Navigant Consulting and an associate with Patten, MacPhee & Associates, Inc. in Denver. Previously, he worked in the public accounting industry, where he performed audit services, and within private industry as a cost accountant.
Mr. Anderson earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Tulsa and a master's degree in economics from the University of North Carolina in Greensboro. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Certified Global Management Accountant (CGMA) and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designee. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the CFA Institute. Mr. Anderson is a board member and the Treasurer of The Legal Center for People with Disabilities and Older People.
