Mr. Schlosser brings deep expertise in operations and supply chain related to pre-deal target assessment, operational due diligence and post-deal performance improvement. His particular focus is in private equity portfolio leveraged sourcing, and he has served in numerous leadership roles on these projects in either advisory or interim management positions.
Some of his most recent assignments include working with numerous middle and upper middle market private equity funds and their portfolio companies in developing cross-portfolio sourcing platforms. These funds have ranged in size from $500 million to more than $5 billion AUM. Over the last two years, Mr. Schlosser has worked with more than 150 portfolio companies sourcing more than $750 million in goods and services-creating more than $1 billion in exit value for these investments. In addition to Mr. Schlosser's deep functional skill set, he also has significant experience working with companies in deal and non-deal situations in the following industries: financial services / insurance, technology / semiconductors, aerospace / industrials and consumer products.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Schlosser was the National Partner-in-charge of the Business Due Diligence Group with KPMG LLP. In this role, he had overall responsibility for the operations of this 65-person sub-practice of KPMG's Transaction Services. Prior to KPMG, Mr. Schlosser was Vice President of Expense Management and co-CPO for the Willis Group, an ex-KKR portfolio company, and an Engagement Manager with McKinsey and Company in its Stamford, CT office. Prior to business school, Mr. Schlosser held multiple operating roles in the semiconductor and high technology industries.
Mr. Schlosser earned a bachelor's degree from the University of California San Diego and a master's degree in business administration from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
