Jeff Armor is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal’s Private Equity Performance Improvement in Philadelphia. He specializes in IT operations, due diligence, ERP selection, carve-outs, program management, process and system implementation synergy assessment and optimization.

With more than 23 years of experience, Mr. Armor has worked with clients across a range of industries, including high tech, life science, healthcare, retail / consumer products, metals and mining, chemicals, utilities, and manufacturing. Recently, Mr. Armor completed the post-transaction Integration of three beverage companies resulting in an $800M seven location entity. He functioned as interim CIO and IMO leader for back office, ERP consolidation (NAV, Dynamics AX, Infor LX), and various systems and integration points. He developed an 18-month IT roadmap recommending consolidating service providers, moving to a SaaS and cloud-based solution and reducing IT spend by 10-15%. 

Mr. Armor has led more than 25 buy and sell side IT Diligence projects across various SMB industries including professional and tech services, hospitality, healthcare, retail, construction, manufacturing and IT Services and solutions. 

Mr. Armor led the Finance, Supply Chain & IT Transformation program at a fortune 500 global mining company identifying $20M in EBITA improvements across IT operations, back-office, manufacturing and procurement/inventory functions through an aggressive nine-month application rationalization, Oracle ERP consolidation & Shared Service consolidation/outsourcing. 

Mr. Armor led the global process design and Oracle ERP implementation for Fortune 500 life science business including designing an online catalog & e-commerce platform and redesign of their warehouse management system and distribution processes across 15 sites and 5 distribution hubs. On this engagement he was responsible for overall delivery of re-designed processes, configuring and testing the ERP solution, data management, change management and training of the personnel.  Value realization was an annual $2.5-3M EBITA impact.

Mr. Armor was the Delivery & PMO Lead on a global SAP ERP implementation for one of the world’s largest copper mining businesses, deploying a standardized supply chain, order fulfillment, financial and HR solution to over 4000 employees.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Armor held leadership positions with Accenture.  As Managing Director, he lead the formation of the JD Edwards business/IT services group; Additionally, he lead more than 20 ERP selections, IT Due Diligence, ERP design, PMO, and implementations including Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, Microsoft and Great Plains software solutions.  

Mr. Armor earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and a MBA in marketing/economics from Lehigh University.
