With more than 25 years of Supply Management experience, Ms. Pumphrey has planned and developed best practices and implemented leading practices in and around the areas of supplier identification, selection, implementation, risk mitigation and operational management for a wide range of indirect categories to include Employee Benefits, Legal Service, Insurance and Facilities Management. Ms. Pumphrey is adept in strategic sourcing, scorecard development, industry analysis, spend analytics, UNSPSC mapping and outsourcing. She has led the selection and implementation of several procurement systems to include T-360 and DataCert (Legal); Agile 1, Field Glass (Contingent Labor); and Oracle, SAP and Ariba (P2P Lifecycle).
Ms. Pumphrey is a leader in the Third Party Risk Management Practice at A&M. She is responsible for the successful design, development and deployment of several Third Party Risk Management Programs most recently for a global top ten financial services firm. This included writing policies, procedures, governance guidelines and charters. In addition she created organizational structures and related training for managing the Third Party Relationship Lifecycle using best and leading practices that align to the current regulatory guidance.
Ms. Pumphrey’s notable assignments include VP Sourcing, General Electric Capital Corporation; CPO, leading facilities management company; Director of Sourcing, NBCUniversal; Managing Director, Strategic Sourcing, Wachovia and SVP Sourcing, Bank of America.
Ms. Pumphrey has supported clients across multiple industries to include financial services, media / entertainment, manufacturing, retail, real estate facilities management and technology.
Ms. Pumphrey earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from Post University. She is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Certified Regulatory Vendor Program Manager and holds a patent for design and development of GE’s Software Lifecycle Management. She has held positions in several supply chain industry associations to include President of the Board of Directors for the Institute of Supply Management (ISM) 7-Counties, is a current member of ISM National and is a member of the International Association of Contract and Commercial Management (IACCM) and Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP).
