Jason Andrews is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal’s Valuation Services practice in Seattle, Washington.

Mr. Andrews specializes in the valuation of privately-held companies, equity and debt securities, and other financial instruments primarily for tax compliance/reporting, financial statement reporting, and corporate planning purposes. Mr. Andrews’ primary areas of concentration include providing valuations for early-stage, venture-backed companies, equity-based compensation, financial instruments and derivatives, including options, warrants, convertible securities, market- and performance-based equity awards, and various embedded derivatives.

With more than 10 years of valuation experience, Mr. Andrews has assisted with the valuation of thousands of early-stage companies at all stages of development (inception through exit).

Mr. Andrews has been involved with research and valuation of companies across a variety of industries, however, his focus has generally been within the technology, e-commerce and life sciences sectors.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Andrews spent four years with Grant Thornton, where he most recently served as manager in the forensic and valuation services practice.

Mr. Andrews earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration, with a finance concentration, from the University of Washington.
