Hillyer Parker is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal’s Real Estate Advisory Services in Atlanta, specializing in commercial and residential real estate due diligence, financial analytics and market study analysis. His primary areas of concentration are real estate loan portfolio analysis, cash flow modeling, commercial real estate lending practice restructuring, and legal document assessment.

Mr. Parker often works closely with other A&M practices such as Financial Industry Regulation Advisory Services, NACR, and the Transaction Advisory Group on banking engagements. With more than 10 years of real estate experience in the commercial banking arena, he has underwritten, structured and closed transactions covering multi-family, retail, office, industrial, hospitality and residential construction financing throughout the Southeast. He also has experience with litigation support, valuation services and residential mortgage servicing.

Mr. Parker maintains a notable client list of commercial real estate developers, banks and brokers nationally, with a primary focus in the Southeast region.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Parker spent two years with Washington Mutual's Commercial Real Estate Lending Group. As a director and relationship manager, he served a key role in establishing a de novo loan production office for WaMu in Atlanta covering AL, GA, FL, NC, SC and TN.

Mr. Parker earned two bachelor of science degrees in international economics and finance from Louisiana State University. He is also active in Urban Land Institute, National Association of Industrial and Office Properties, as well as International Council of Shopping Centers.
