Hani Alexander is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Corporate Performance Improvement in Los Angeles. He leads the Procurement and Supply Chain Practice and co-leads the Retail and Consumer Products for the U.S. West Region of Alvarez & Marsal. Mr. Alexander focuses on providing operational and financial performance improvement solutions to Global 1000 and mid-market companies.

With more than 18 years of experience, Mr. Alexander brings significant expertise in profit improvement, cost optimization, strategic sourcing, procurement, distribution and logistics, supply chain management and strategic vendor management.

Mr. Alexander’s industry experience includes the retail, consumer packaged goods (CPG), financial services, high-tech, media and entertainment, healthcare, utilities, pharmaceuticals, public and telecommunications sectors.

Mr. Alexander’s notable accomplishments at A&M include leading a cost optimization initiative resulting in a profit improvement of 120 percent for a mid-market consumer goods company. He also led multiple-cost optimization waves for a prominent specialty food and beverage retailer and wholesaler resulting in a 15 percent EBITDA improvement.

In addition, Mr. Alexander has led numerous supply chain and procurement organizational transformation engagements for Global 1000 companies across a number of industries.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Alexander served as Vice President, Strategic Procurement and Vendor Management (CPO) for ACC Capital Holdings, a Citigroup company. In this role, he established a corporate-wide strategic sourcing, procurement and vendor management organization with $1.5 billion in spend under management. The organization supported source-to-pay activities across six business units, over 15,000 employees and over 250 locations.

Previously, Mr. Alexander was a Managing Director and Engagement Manager with Parson Consulting, a financial solutions consulting firm. Prior to Parson, Mr. Alexander was a Senior Consultant in the Supply Chain Practice of Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting) in New York.

Mr. Alexander earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Case Western Reserve University and a master's degree and doctorate (Ph.D.) in mechanical engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles.
