He has more than 11 years of experience with Brazilian tax projects. Prior joining A&M, Mr. Casimiro spent five years at EY, where he worked as a Tax Manager and was involved in diversified projects on indirect taxes subjects, with an emphasis on tax planning initiatives (credit identification and recovery). He also helped assess and improve clients tax function, controls and risks landscape.
Mr. Casimiro has worked on projects in a wide range of industries including retail, automotive, chemical, healthcare and food.
Mr. Casimiro is a member of the Brazilian Bar Association. He earned a bachelor’s degree in law from Mogi das Cruzes University, São Paulo. He has an L.LM degree in corporate law from Mackenzie University, and a L.LM degree in tax law from IICS.
Mr. Casimiro is native in Portuguese and fluent in English.
