Mr. Cummins brings 19 of experience in helping organisations leverage IT to address critical business challenges. His primary areas of concentration are delivering high-profile digital business transformation, IT strategy and change projects as well as IT operating model design and information management solutions. Mr. Cummins has worked with clients across a range of industries, including consumer products, pharma, real estate, construction, finance and manufacturing.
Most recently at A&M, Mr. Cummins has been involved in a global consumer products company where he designed the future state information management organisation, identifying and documenting the core capabilities and roles and responsibilities to support planned digital transformation including Big Data/IoT and Analytics.
For the same client, he has also been involved in a finance transformation initiative looking at making cost and operational efficiencies around the IT tools and organization. He developed a three-year initiative roadmap (involving processes, organization/governance and IT) to drive future innovation and speed to market within the Global New Product Development (NPD) process.
Previously, Mr.Cummins was the Change Leadership co-lead working with an international pharmaceutical wholesale and retail organisation to design and implement a change leadership toolkit and manage change activities across a pan-European rollout of SAP.
Mr. Cummins also was involved with the European and Americas regions of a Real Estate company where he undertook a review of existing data, processes and reporting tools and developed a high-level roadmap of initiatives and costings to address the data and IT challenges to achieve enhanced reporting, process efficiencies and information transparency.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Cummins worked for BearingPoint and Ernst and Young in the technology advisory space supporting clients with their ERP and data warehousing solutions (selection through implementation), IT strategy, information management, shared services and outsourcing, operating model design and change management. He has worked on engagements in North America, U.K. and mainland Europe.
Mr. Cummins earned a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Ulster and a master’s of science degree in Information Management from the Queen’s University Belfast. He is a British national.
