Mr. Johnson has extensive experience developing strategies for long-term growth and business transformation.
He specializes in demand-driven growth strategies, resource allocation prioritization and the development of appropriate skills to deliver meaningful growth strategies. Mr. Johnson also specializes in consumer/customer segmentation, value proposition, brand positioning development and overall strategic planning.
Prior to A&M, Mr. Johnson was a Principal with The Cambridge Group. He has extensive experience in driving profitable growth for consumer-oriented businesses in retail, consumer packaged goods, financial services and travel.
Prior to joining The Cambridge Group, Mr. Johnson worked for a private family fund where he led and advised the senior teams on strategy and played an active role in governance for select investments. In that role, he developed investment criteria and worked closely with the management teams of the portfolio companies to achieve their objectives.
While serving as an Associate Principal at McKinsey & Company, he developed differentiated corporate and brand strategies for his clients. He also served as a brand manager at Procter & Gamble, where he managed all aspects associated with managing market leading Food and Beverage brands.
Mr. Johnson earned an MBA from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA as well as a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Duke University.
