Prior to A&M, Mr. Johnson was a Principal with The Cambridge Group. He has extensive experience in driving profitable growth for consumer-oriented businesses in hard goods, retail, consumer packaged goods and travel.

Prior to joining The Cambridge Group, Mr. Johnson led a team for a private family where he advised the senior teams on strategy and played an active role in governance for select investments. In that role, he developed investment criteria and worked closely with the management teams of the portfolio companies to achieve their objectives.

Mr. Johnson was an Associate Principal at McKinsey & Company where he developed differentiated corporate and brand strategies for his clients. He also served as a brand manager at Procter & Gamble, managing all aspects associated with managing market leading Food and Beverage brands.

Mr. Johnson earned an MBA from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA as well as an bachelor’s degree in psychology from Duke University.
