As an industry operator, Mr. Nagy has led transaction banking and payments businesses within cash management and treasury services organizations of major global banks. He has held positions of increasing responsibility with organizations including PwC, IBM, Citibank, JPMorgan Chase and Fiserv. In his most recent role at Bank of the West, the North American subsidiary of BNP Paribas, he served as the Division Executive, leading the Cash Management, Commercial Cards and Specialized Corporate Services Divisions.
Mr. Nagy’s work has also encompassed the full suite of capabilities for domestic and international payments (global clearing, foreign exchange), commercial cards, receivables products and digital banking solutions. In the technology industry, he was responsible for online banking solutions serving small business and corporate banking clients.
Mr. Nagy's consulting experience includes work in corporate and consumer banking, focused on strategy, process transformation, cost / revenue optimization, change management and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) integration. As a consultant, he has led engagements across functional areas including product management and development, sales, implementation, customer service, technology and operations. He specializes in transaction banking, payments, cash management and treasury services within banks and companies who utilize banking services.
Mr. Nagy earned an MBA from the American Graduate School of International Management and a bachelor's degree in international relations / political science from Colgate University. He also completed graduate and undergraduate studies at the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara and the University of Zambia. Mr. Nagy has spoken at a number of industry conferences and authored articles on transaction banking, payments and process optimization, which can be found in notable periodicals. He is an inventor of a patented mobile payments solution that was developed during his time with Citibank.
