Chad Fry is a Senior Director with Alvarez and Marsal Corporate Performance Improvement practice in Chicago.

Mr. Fry has over 25 years of diversified human resources and consulting experience working with large and small clients, corporate and plant level positions. More specifically, he specializes in organization and talent strategies, human resources service delivery model design and effectiveness, talent management, leadership development, succession management and executive coaching. 

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Fry conducted a human resources functional assessment and service delivery transformation for large office supply company where he reviewed current state assessments, gap analyses and organizational designs including an expanded shared services center. He later led the assessment, recommendation and implementation improvements for a large retail wireless provider’s talent acquisition function, including creation of a predictive staffing model and customer/candidate satisfaction metrics.

He has experience transforming the HR function for a Fortune 250 client which included design and implementation of an HR service delivery model and assessment and improvement recommendations regarding talent management capabilities, performance management and metrics. While engaged by a Fortune 50 financial services company, Mr. Fry identified over $50MM in cost savings through the review of shadow HR and training functions, redundant services and aligning the HR function with the organizational strategy.

Mr. Fry led a team of consultants to create and implement a leadership competency model and talent management journey map for a Fortune 100 Financial Services organization. He also led talent management team that conducted end-to-end review of a bank’s talent management processes, including succession management in response to an MRA from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.

Chad has earned his bachelor of arts degree in psychology and economics from the University of Michigan and his Masters of Arts in Human Resources Management from Michigan State University School of Human Resources and Labor Relations.

Chad is a frequent writer and speaker on human capital topics, including presenting the keynote address on “Human Capital Metrics” at the Conference Board and “Prospering During a Workforce Shortage” at the CIO Forum. He has also written several whitepapers including, “The ROI of Talent,” and “Workforce Analytics – Using Advanced Analytics to Manage Talent and Risk.”
