At A&M, he has executed a variety of projects including IT strategy and roadmap engagements for multiple retail clients, IT cost reduction efforts for a major financial services company, an IT performance metrics implementation and improvement effort, and an IT infrastructure operations improvement effort for a major health services corporation.
With more than 25 years of consulting experience, Mr. Patton has executed numerous strategic technology projects for such companies as: Northrop Grumman, Toyota, REI, Kaiser, Raytheon, Sony Pictures, and Warner Bros.
His sourcing experience includes evaluation of vendor software and hardware products on multiple occasions for enterprise solutions in finance, HR and supply chain operations, technical and business evaluations of pilots and proofs of concept.
He has additional experience with supplier consolidation in numerous technical areas including data center consolidation, server rationalization and virtualization, network consolidation, and other infrastructure efficiency efforts. He also helped drive and enterprise software and services agreement with Microsoft on numerous occasions.
Before joining A&M, Mr. Patton spent three years with Microsoft in Los Angeles, most recently serving as an Enterprise Technical Strategist supporting key initiatives regarding infrastructure technology uplifts, client technology integration (mobile device integration), datacenter optimization through virtualization and automation, messaging and voice unification and migration to cloud services, collaboration and social networking expansion to support customer services.
He also completed an advanced technology integration to support key auto initiatives including telematics, in-car customer care, and dealer service management mobility improvements.
He also spent 12 years with Hitachi and Deloitte Consulting in Los Angeles, serving as a director and senior manager in IT Strategy practices supporting key enterprise initiatives such as: IT merger integration for Exxon / Mobil and Chevron / Texaco, IT divestiture and separation of Agilent from Hewlett Packard, ERP implementations at Clorox, AT&T Wireless, Southwestern Bell, Baker Hughes and Nissan, as well as advanced infrastructure planning and strategy development at Raytheon, Sony Pictures, Paramount Studios, and Warner Bros.
Mr. Patton earned two bachelor’s degrees (psychology and political science) from Pepperdine University. He also served four years in the U.S. Marine Corps as a Data Systems Officer. Advanced certifications include Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and ITIL Foundation Certification.
