With over 13 years of experience, Mr. Murrell has worked extensively with clients in claiming, documenting, and sustaining federal and state tax incentives, focusing primarily on research and development tax credits. His experience spans multiple industries, including oil and gas, government/defense, software development, manufacturing, and biotechnology.
Prior to A&M, Mr. Murrell cofounded and served as Managing Director of TRCG Advisors.
While at TRCG Advisors, he advised clients ranging from start-ups to multinational public organizations. Previously, he was a member of Deloitte Tax’s National Research and Development Tax Services group.
Mr. Murrell earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin and his Juris Doctorate from Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law. Mr. Murrell is licensed to practice law in the state of Texas.
