Andrew Bronstein is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal’s Private Equity Performance Improvement Group in Philadelphia and New York City. With more than 30 years of experience as a leader in finance and operations, Mr. Bronstein works with corporate leaders and private equity sponsors in designing and executing initiatives that drive transformation and create significant value.

Mr. Bronstein is experienced serving in leadership roles in multi-national companies.  His expertise includes evaluating and integrating acquisitions, identifying synergies, carve-out and roll-up transactions, designing performance improvement strategies, and executing transformation initiatives. Mr. Bronstein's industry expertise includes manufacturing, technology, medical products,  pharmaceutical, business services and media.

Mr. Bronstein has helped clients create value through centralizing their supply chains, improving working capital, creating transparent cash forecasting models, designing operational performance dashboards, and leading complex carve-outs and business roll-up transactions.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Bronstein was Operations Managing Director for The Gores Group, a $3 billion middle-market PE firm where he co-led the technology, media and business services verticals; led due diligence projects, developed operating strategies; and designed and led transformation initiatives. He also served as President of APB Advisors LLC, where he performed private equity consulting and performance improvement services to middle-market PE firms.

Before Gores, Mr. Bronstein was CFO of SunGard Data Systems Software and Services Group and Chief Accounting Officer for SunGard, a Fortune 500 public company.  In these roles he was part of the core management team that helped to grow SunGard from $300 million to over $4 billion in revenues in the span of 14 years, which included closing and integrating 125 acquisitions. Earlier in his career, he was a Senior Manager and Director of the Technology Group in the Assurance practice at PwC.

Mr. Bronstein is a CPA and a magna cum laude graduate of Northeastern University. He has served on the board of directors of three companies, including one public company where he served as Audit Committee Chairman, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA).
