Mr. Vitti has experience in the acquisition and sale of companies, start-ups, strategic and budget planning, debt and equity restructuring, cash flow management, controlling and supply chain. As a Consultant or Interim Manager, Mr. Vitti has helped major players from various industries such as oil and gas, agribusiness (sugar cane), automotive, retail, financial, energy and construction.
Recently, Mr. Vitti is CEO for one of the most traditional fashion retailers in Brazil. Prior to that, participated in a performance improvement project for one of the largest gas companies in the world ($17 billion in revenue) covering Canada and South America, as well as served as CFO for a significant Brazilian auto parts player and for a leading fashion retail and financial group (over $500 million in sales), and as Controller for a construction company (energy sector). Mr. Vitti also acted as Financial Advisor for Brazilian and multinational companies from various industry doing debt restructuring, fundraising and renegotiation with customers.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Vitti was a partner of Axial Management, a Venture Capital firm working with start-ups mainly in the agribusiness industry. He was responsible for the management of a portfolio holding Cleantech related assets. He was also the CFO of the holding company, Axialpar. He was responsible for the management of eight investments (approximately $70 million of invested capital) in the agribusiness sector. Before Axial, Mr. Vitti was a Senior Consultant of Corporate Finance at EY Latin America doing business valuation and feasibility studies for multinational companies such as Coca-Cola, Perstorp, Louis Dreyfus, Bombril-Cirio, Unidas Rent a Car and others.
Mr. Vitti earned a bachelor's degree in public administration from Universidade Estadual de São Paulo (UNESP), a master’s degree in business administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV), an MBA (exchange program) from University of California (UCLA) and executive education in entrepreneurship from Babson College and leadership from IMD. He speaks Portuguese and English fluently and is conversational in Spanish.
