He has served in interim financial leadership positions within healthcare companies, including financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, treasury management and financial analysis.
Mr. Jhaveri has advised a variety of healthcare service organizations while at A&M. Most recently, he served as the special advisor to the CFO of a premier supplier and service provider in post-acute care where he assisted with revenue cycle enhancements and other financial improvements. Prior to that, he developed the business and organizational plan for a financial fund in Louisiana and assisted in its organization, investment strategy and sourcing of new business opportunities.
He has advised numerous other healthcare organizations including assisting a leading provider of physician advisory services in the development a scorecard including new revenue and expense KPIs as well as developing a comprehensive plan to improve their balance sheet to position the company for future growth; assisting in the turnaround of the Einstein School of Medicine in New York; developing marketing, growth strategies and a comprehensive business plan for several proton therapy centers; establishing performance improvement initiatives for Xenoport, and serving as an Advisor to Baylor School of Medicine and Nashville General Hospital.
Mr. Jhaveri has also served as an Advisor in numerous transactions, including the sale of HMA to Community Health. His experience in Mergers and Acquisitions – including spin-offs, buy-side and sell-side advisory, fairness opinions, reverse mergers and take-over defense – have enabled A&M clients to explore all options available to maximize and unlock equity value. He has also provided numerous equity financings which include IPOs, Secondary Offerings, PIPEs, Registered Direct and Private Placement Offerings to clients. He has closed more than 30 transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, debt placements and equity financings. Most recently, most recently he has assisted a senior living facility in an acquisition and is currently involved in the sale of a hospital system in the southwest.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Jhaveri was an Investment Banker and worked with Bear Stearns, & Co.; Merrill Lynch; and Friedman, Billings, Ramsey & Co.’s healthcare investment banking group, overseeing transactions in four core verticals, including biotechnology, life sciences, medical devices and healthcare services.
Mr. Jhaveri holds a bachelor of science degree in biomedical engineering and physics from Columbia University and an MA in the mathematics of finance from Columbia University. He also holds an MBA from the Wharton Business School (University of Pennsylvania).
