Alejandro Beltran is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Real Estate Advisory Services in Dallas. With more than 10 years of hospitality and real estate industry experience, Mr. Beltran brings domestic and international expertise in several real estate and hospitality products, including hotels, mixed-use resort developments, hotel condominiums, conference centers, timeshares, fractionals and destination clubs. He also has significant experience in the retail and manufacturing industry in Latin America.

Mr. Beltran has served numerous clients, including multinational development companies, financial institutions, international lodging companies, law firms, private equity funds and investment banks. His advisory experience includes site selection; strategic planning; market and feasibility analysis; operations diagnostics; market, financial and operations due diligence; operator search and selection.

His notable assignments include providing strategic expansion advisory services to Starwood Hotels, as well as assisting in sales and marketing efforts in Latin America. Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Beltran was with Ernst & Young, Deloitte Consulting and Mobil Oil Corporation.

Mr. Beltran earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial and systems engineering, magna cum laude, from Monterrey Tech (ITESM) in Mexico City. He earned a master’s degree in business administration, magna cum laude, from Southern Methodist University. He is fluent in Spanish.
