Anthony Englese
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Englese spent over 14 years with PwC’s Banking and Capital Markets group in New York, where he most recently served as a Tax Director. While at PwC, he assisted his clients in developing and evolving from initial market entry to become significant participants in the market. He led significant federal and multistate income tax compliance projects for multinational companies, with a focus on partnership, corporate, and international reporting requirements. This included completing tax carry waterfall calculations, applying the tax impacts of partner basis adjustments, incorporating the impacts of interest limitations, identifying tax savings for clients, and filing accounting method changes. In addition to Mr. Englese’s work with income tax compliance, he also helped lead the tax area in audits of multinational banks and prepared ASC 740 provisions for broker-dealers and corporate blockers within multitiered fund structures.
Mr. Englese earned both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in accounting from St. Francis College, New York. He is a registered Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of New York and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
