A client planned to divest their pipe manufacturing division and simultaneously spin-off (via IPO) their accommodations business. They needed to develop IT strategies for both the newly separated accommodations business and the remaining organization post-divestitures.
A&M's solution included:
- Designing future state IT strategies for both entities based on rigorous evaluation of current IT capabilities, external benchmarks and requirements for post-divesture organizations
- Preparing and executing a transition roadmap for IT reorganization, infrastructure, governance and policies and business application rationalization
- Designing and executing transition plan for financial reporting and consolidation
- Implementing interim a financial reporting solution for the new accommodations entity
