A retail client’s inventory levels were too high, and they had limited visibility into their real-time net inventory position. A&M assessed the client’s customer demand planning procedures and point of sale analytics and determined that the client could right-size inventory levels by moving to a collaborative planning, forecasting and replenishment process.

A&M improved point of sale automation and increased the frequency of master requirement planning to better manage customer demand. As a result, the client improved order fulfillment and service delivery while reducing inventory levels nearly 30% from $120M to $85M.
