Joseph F. Berardino is a Managing Director in charge of the Northeast Region of the Business Consulting Practice of Alvarez & Marsal in New York.
He brings more than three decades of executive leadership and board service experience to the firm.
Mr. Berardino was named to the Board of Directors of Value Vision Media (aka ShopNBC) in 2008 and has been serving in various capacities, from CEO to Chairman of the Board of Directors of Profectus BioSciences, since 2003. Before joining Profectus BioSciences, Mr. Berardino was Vice Chairman of Sciens Capital Management, an alternative management firm with assets under management now exceeding $4 billion.
Previously, Mr. Berardino was an audit partner with Arthur Andersen, where he spent more than 30 years in various client serving and leadership roles, including CEO of Andersen Worldwide.
Mr. Berardino has lectured extensively on corporate governance, leadership and ethics before senior corporate executives and college campuses.
Mr. Berardino earned a bachelor's degree from Fairfield University, where he now serves as Chairman of the Finance Committee of the Board of Trustees.
