Opportunties: Directors
Alvarez & Marsal is seeking Directors for its Revenue Enhancement practice in the New York and Pittsburgh areas.
Revenue Enhancement is a division of Alvarez & Marsal’s Turnaround and Restructuring practice, which specializes in turnaround advisory, interim and crisis management, creditor advisory and public sector restructuring.
As a Revenue Enhancement professional, you will assist in advising underperforming and distressed companies in the areas of sales, strategy and marketing. As a member of the Revenue Enhancement team, you will service the business needs of high-profile companies in the industrial and consumer goods sector by providing them with expertise in sales strategy, promotions, marketing and research and development efforts.
The ideal candidate must be capable of:
- Managing teams of A&M professionals to address complex business challenges within the marketing and sales arena;
- Communicating with C-level management;
- Conceiving and structuring analytical plans to uncover drivers of performance;
- Designing actionable solutions to particular sales and marketing issues; and
- Developing implementation plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- MBA or other advanced degree a plus
- Four (4) or more years experience in sales and/or marketing organization with increasing levels of responsibility, and demonstrated ability to achieve business results;
- Two (2) or more years in business consulting;
- Track record in demonstrating creativity in solving marketing challenges;
- Financial modeling experience / superior quantitative skills;
- Excellent client management, organizational, problem solving and communication skills;
- Demonstrates integrity, leadership and objectivity;
- Team player who excels in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, challenging work environment;
- Willingness to travel; and
- Demonstrated proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, with particular emphasis on PowerPoint and intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
