Opportunities: Transfer Pricing - Directors

The Transfer Pricing practice of Alvarez & Marsal Taxand, LLC, is seeking Directors to join its teams in Vienna, VA and San Francisco, CA.

The Transfer Pricing team works with clients on all aspects of intercompany pricing issues, from developing, validating and documenting policies to assisting clients with tax audits or advance pricing agreements. Client companies are generally large and mid-cap firms with business activities in a variety of industries and countries.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintaining client relationships;
• Managing and delivering client projects;
• Reviewing and analyzing corporate financial data;
• Collecting data and building models for use in analysis;
• Generating business development leads and projects; and
• Supervising and mentoring staff.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (required); master’s degree (preferred);
• Experience with advisory related projects, with experience in one or more of the following areas: transfer pricing, financial statement analysis, valuation, quantitative and competitive analysis, statistical sampling and econometrics, plan evaluation and/or operational performance analysis;
• Thorough understanding of the U.S. transfer pricing regulations and international transfer pricing environment;
• Excellent writing, analytical, research and organizational skills;
• Strong market and client focus;
• Knowledge of accounting and financial reporting;
• Strong sense of personal motivation, as well as the ability to work with a team; and
• Experience using spreadsheet and word processing software.
