Opportunities: Transfer Pricing - Associates

The Transfer Pricing practice of Alvarez & Marsal Taxand is seeking Associates to join its teams in Vienna, VA and San Francisco, CA.

The Transfer Pricing team works with clients to identify inter-company pricing issues, and to develop and validate policies to assist clients in complying with international tax regulations. Client companies are generally large and mid-cap multi-national firms with business activities in a variety of industries and countries.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide support for the group’s directors;
• Gather factual information and financial data on companies in various industries;
• Develop an understanding of our clients’ industries;
• Analyze corporate financial data;
• Write and produce client reports;
• Collect data and build databases for use in our analysis; and
• Attend client interviews and meetings.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree is required; master’s degree is preferred;
• Candidates with an economics, finance or mathematics major are preferred;
• Candidates should have taken college-level calculus and have had significant coursework in economics and statistics;
• Candidates should also possess strong writing, analytical, research and organizational skills;
• A strong sense of personal motivation, as well as the ability to work with a team, is required; and
• Experience using spreadsheet and word processing software is a must.
