Alvarez & Marsal Dispute Analysis & Forensic Services is seeking Associates for its team in Boston.
Associates are required to:
- Work as a team member on client assignments to assist in performing damages calculations and valuations, forensic and accounting investigations, purchase price disputes, expert witness services, business interruption claims and licensing compliance services;
- Develop computer models, including detailed and potentially complex spreadsheet analysis;
- Perform work product review and validate for accuracy and completeness;
- Prepare client communications for review by senior professionals; and
- Research relevant client, industry and technical matters and document findings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or related discipline; CPA a plus
- Minimum one (1) to two (2) years of relevant experience;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, yet work well independently;
- Exceptional problem solving skills;
- Highly motivated and interested in taking initiative on personal development;
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Access;
- Willing to travel and work additional hours, as necessary
- Candidates should based in Boston, MA
