Kevin McMahon, a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Business Consulting, is a leading human resources strategist. He brings insight, expertise and problem-solving capabilities to areas including organizational development and effectiveness, culture and change work, performance management systems, acquisition integration, leadership and team development. In addition, Mr. McMahon specializes in succession and talent management, workforce planning and reduction, competency modeling, assessment and coaching.
With more than 10 years of management and consulting experience involving complex business and performance issues, Mr. McMahon has served as an external consultant, as well as internal change agent, helping executives assess organizational, team and individual performance issues to develop actionable plans that achieve specific objectives. Mr. McMahon has advised on notable assignments across a diverse set of industry sectors including chemicals, computer manufacturing, software, oil field services, insurance and government.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. McMahon spent four years as Director of Global Organizational Development at BMC Software. Previously, he served as a manager in the Change Management Practice of a Big Five firm.
Mr. McMahon earned a bachelor's degree from Southwestern University. He holds a master's degree in industrial organizational psychology from St. Mary's University.
