Eye on Tax: Swing in the 2011 Economy Impacts the Need for Valuation Allowance Assessment
We are excited to announce the latest presentation of our webcast series,
Eye on Tax.
"Swing in the 2011 Economy Impacts the Need for Valuation Allowance Assessment" was held on August 31, 2011, and featured A&M Taxand Managing Director Robert Filip. During the presentation, Robert focused on how to identify key criteria used to assess the need for a valuation allowance under ASC 740, understand how evidence (positive vs. negative and objective vs. subjective) drives valuation allowance decisions, and evaluate changes in the 2011 economy and their impact on valuation allowance assessments.
Once a month, A&M will more fully explore a topic of interest published in our Tax Advisor Weekly newsletter with a one-hour webcast detailing the specific issues, planning opportunities and pitfalls that you need to know in order to best understand the full implications of the subject matter.
Those who register and attend the webcast will be awarded one hour of CPE credit as authorized by NASBA. And, like the newsletter, there is no charge for these valuable insights and continuing education credits.
