Greece is striving to recover from six consecutive years of recession that have resulted in a c. 25% drop in GDP, a 26% unemployment rate, the highest debt/GDP ratio in the Eurozone (175%), a c.40% cumulative drop in real estate values and a banking sector with an average non-performing loan (NPL) ratio of c.35% across all sectors of the economy.
